Who?

I'm a Ph.D. student in the Department of Linguistics at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. My research interests are formal semantics and syntax, computational and mathematical linguistics, and philosophy of language and logic.

My dissertation (in progress) concerns the semantics of degree achievement verbs (verbs - like 'widen' - that express change on a scalar dimension), and their interaction with adverbial modifiers (including measure phrases like 'three meters', but also aspectual modifiers like 'for ten minutes' and adverbs of repetition like 'again').

Some initial results of my dissertation research can be found on my papers page. On this website, you can also find my academic history as well as my full CV.
